About browser storage

MotorOffer is a trading name of Micheala Mowlam, who operates as a sole trader. MotorOffer is not a limited company.

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Session storage and local storage are related technologies that can also hold information on your device. This policy describes how the current MotorOffer enquiry website uses browser storage.

Storage used for your enquiry

When you enter a registration and postcode in an offer entry panel, the website uses a session storage item named mo_enquiry_start to carry those details into the vehicle enquiry form. This avoids placing them in the page address.

This storage is used to provide the enquiry journey you requested, not for advertising. It is removed following successful submission and is otherwise held for the browser tab's session; browsers may restore session data when restoring a tab.

Other answers remain in the active form while you work through the steps; they are not a saved draft in local storage. Photographs are uploaded to private storage when selected, rather than being kept only in your browser. See the Privacy Policy for the handling of uploaded photographs.

The site's navigation also uses session storage named tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3 to remember page scroll positions when you navigate back and forward. It contains navigation and scroll-position information, not your vehicle enquiry answers, and lasts for the browser tab's session.

Analytics and marketing

The current enquiry website has no connected analytics or advertising service and does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. The enquiry journey records event names in the page's memory for a possible future analytics connection; those events contain no registration, postcode, vehicle answers or customer contact details and are not sent by that code to an analytics service.

This description does not cover tools belonging to the Lovable editor or preview environment, which are separate from the public vehicle enquiry service.

External font requests

The website requests its fonts from Google Fonts. This involves a connection from your browser to Google and is separate from the enquiry's session storage. The Privacy Policy explains the technical information involved.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and website storage through your browser settings. Blocking session storage may prevent your registration and postcode carrying over to the form, so you may need to enter them again.

There is currently no optional-cookie preference panel because no optional analytics or advertising cookies are configured by the enquiry website. If optional tracking is introduced, the policy and any required choices must be updated before that tracking is used.
